Another Chinese New Year has come and gone and as I was having dinner with family and of course, lou sang; I realised that out of all the times I've had this dish be it in fancy restaurants or roadside setups, this home made dish is the best lou sang I've ever had.
It might have been the coarsely chopped vegetables made with hours of painstaking work, or the complex mix of sauces whose proportions are decided by the method of "that sounds about right". But personally, I think it tastes the best because of how everyone is brought together to share a common goal: getting food on every available spot on the table!
This is definitely the case where too many chefs does not indeed spoil the broth!
